Her practice focuses on medical malpractice, personal injury and disability claims, as well as administrative law spanning a range of subject areas including professional licensing, discipline and labour law.
Christine earned her law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1980. She also completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from the University of Saskatchewan in 1977. Christine became a partner of the Firm in 1990 and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1999. She has transitioned to Of Counsel in 2020.
Christine is a past President of the Saskatchewan Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, past Chair of the National Health Law Section of the CBA and past member of the Management Board of the Canadian Bar Insurance Association. She is the former Chair of the firm’s Health Law practice group and a member of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers. She lectures to professional organizations on numerous topics including trial advocacy, expert witnesses and administrative law.
Christine was recently selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers™ in Canada 2024 in the field of Personal Injury Litigation for Saskatoon. She has been listed in Best Lawyers® since 2006.
Consistently top ranked as Local Litigation star by Benchmark Canada, Christine was awarded 2015 and 2016 Saskatchewan Litigator of the Year.
Christine has also been listed in the areas of Medical Negligence and Personal Injury in the 2024 Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory.
Christine has recently been ranked again in Band 4 in the area of Healthcare: Contentious for Canada Nationwide by Chambers Canada in their 2024 directory.
