SASKATCHEWAN, July 27, 2026 – McKercher LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas M. Cann, K.C., a Regina-based partner, as the firm's new Executive Committee Chair, helping guide the firm as it enters its second century of serving clients and communities across Saskatchewan.

Nicholas has been a partner with McKercher LLP since 2011 and has served on the firm's Executive Committee since 2022. Throughout his career, he has earned the respect of colleagues and clients through his commitment to legal excellence and community involvement. He has also been a strong advocate for pro bono initiatives, contributing his time and skills to support access to justice across Saskatchewan.

As Executive Committee Chair, Nicholas will work alongside the firm's leadership team to advance McKercher LLP's strategic priorities while building on the strengths that have defined the firm for more than 100 years.
