On September 3, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. CST, David J. Ukrainetz will join the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) for a Learn & Grow webinar, Understanding Saskatchewan's New Franchise Legislation. The session will also feature Kash Jassal, a Saskatoon multi-unit owner of OPA! of Greece, and will explore Saskatchewan's recently enacted franchise legislation from both the franchisor and franchisee perspective. Attendees will learn how the legislation differs from franchise regimes in other provinces, where it applies, and what franchisors and franchisees should consider as they plan for compliance and future growth.
As a Saskatchewan-based lawyer practising in franchise law, David has experience advising entrepreneurs and franchisors in traditional business sectors and in Saskatchewan’s growing technology sector.
