Anita G. Fraser

Anita (Wandzura) Fraser returned to McKercher LLP in 2016 from the United Kingdom, where she received her Master of Laws in Medical Law (with Distinction) from Queen Mary University of London. Anita originally joined the Firm in 2009 after clerking with the Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan. She joined the partnership in 2020.

Anita practices in the area of civil litigation with a special interest in health law, privacy law and professional disciplinary matters. She has appeared before all levels of Saskatchewan court and Federal court, as well as various administrative tribunals. Anita obtained a Certificate in Privacy Law and Information Management in Healthcare from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2022.

In August 2008, Anita was honoured with the Canadian Bar Association’s Edward K. Rowan-Legg Award for her contribution to the Association as a student member.
