Veanna is a 2026-2027 articling student in the McKercher LLP Regina office.
Veanna completed her Bachelor of Human Justice with a minor in Sociology at the University of Regina. During her undergraduate studies, she was an Executive Member of the Justice Studies Student Society (JSS) and completed two practicums, one with the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan and the other with Public Prosecutions, both in Regina.
She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan and was a recipient of the Douglas A. Schmeiser prize in Criminal Procedure. During her time in law school, Veanna was the Vice President of the Criminal Law Students Association, an executive member with the Women in Law club, participated in Law Games in Halifax in 2025, and danced in the Ladies Kickline at the annual charity fundraiser, “Legal Follies” at the Broadway Theatre, in 2024 and 2025.
Outside of work, Veanna enjoys reading (for fun), staying active, watching sports such as football and baseball, and spending time with her fiancé.
