Thea is a associate lawyer in the McKercher LLP Saskatoon office.
Thea obtained her Bachelor of Political Science degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2020 (with Distinction). Throughout her undergraduate studies, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Saskatchewan and focused on Indigenous law and policy.
Thea graduated with her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2023, and was called to the Saskatchewan bar in June of 2024. Thea generally works on files for McKercher's institutional clients, and practices both medical malpractice as well as child protection law.
Thea has volunteered as an Irish dance teacher, on the Women Leading in Philanthropy’s Steering Committee, and at the Sheaf as a student intern. In her spare time, she enjoys taking spin classes and spending time with her doodle, Juno.
