Sarah brings more than 15 years of experience to McKercher LLP in her role as Director of Finance. With a strong background as an accounting professional, she serves as a strategic partner to firm leadership, responsible for financial stewardship, operational performance, and long-term sustainability of the firm.
As Director of Finance, Sarah oversees the firm’s financial management including reporting, budgeting and forecasting, billings and collections, and audit oversight. She works closely with lawyers and staff to ensure disciplined financial performance across practice groups and alignment with the Firm’s strategic goals. Her leadership is grounded in a commitment to building and mentoring a high-performing finance team, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
Sarah is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan.
