Samantha is a partner in the McKercher LLP Saskatoon office. She practices primarily in the area of health law, and also has experience in family law.

Samantha completed her Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology (with High Honours) in 2011. She went on to attend the University of Saskatchewan College of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor (with Distinction) in 2014. Samantha articled with McKercher LLP in 2014 and joined the firm as an associate in 2015.  She was invited to join the partnership in 2025.

Samantha maintains a general litigation practice with a primary focus in health law.  She has experience in Medical Malpractice Defence, Regulatory Proceedings, and Professional Liability Defence.

Samantha also has experience in family law, assisting clients with matters relating to divorce, parenting, child support, spousal support, property division, and Interspousal Agreements. Samantha proudly offers clients a variety of alternative dispute resolution options. She is a certified Collaborative lawyer and trained mediator.

Samantha was raised in Saskatoon. She has volunteered with SWITCH, Pro Bono Students Canada, Community Legal Assistance Services for Saskatoon’s Inner City (CLASSIC), the Royal University Hospital’s Women Leading Philanthropy, and is a member of the Children’s Hospital Jeans and Jewels Gala Committee. Samantha is passionate about children’s health and is a proud supporter of the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation and, in particular, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where her daughter spent her first 88 days of life.

Samantha lives in Saskatoon with her two young daughters. When she is not at the office, you can find her spending time with family, attending a yoga or spin class, or traveling.
