Kailan is Lead Health Law Paraprofessional in the firm's Saskatoon office.
With over 15 years of experience in legal, Kailan brings extensive skill and experience to her work, managing a diverse range of complex legal files focusing on civil litigation and regulatory investigations and reviews. She works closely with the lawyers of our health law group, helping clients with medical defence work. She assists in all aspects of file management, including drafting pleadings, document production, expert retention and trial preparation. Kailan also acts as a liaison between lawyers, physicians and medical experts. In addition, she is responsible for locating standards of care and causation experts and performing various administrative duties.
Kailan joined McKercher LLP in 2012 as a legal administrative assistant and transitioned to her current role as a paraprofessional in 2021.
