David is a senior partner with McKercher LLP operating out of Regina and Saskatoon. His practice focuses on insurance law, defence of liability matters, and defence of health care professionals; he also has considerable experience in employment law and construction law.
David E. Thera, KC is a proud native of Battleford, Saskatchewan. He joined McKercher LLP in 1988, became a partner in 1997, and is a senior litigator in the firm’s Regina office. His practice focuses on health law, defence of general and professional liability matters and professional discipline.
David is former chair of the firm’s Executive Committee and Health Law Practice Group.
In his spare time David enjoys outdoor adventures, including snowshoeing, hiking, bicycling and kayaking, amateur astronomy and toys of all sorts. He spent his youth working at the family’s fishing camp at Canoe Lake, Saskatchewan where he was instilled with the values of hard work, customer service and resourcefulness.
