Annie is an associate lawyer in the McKercher LLP Regina office. Annie advises high‑growth technology companies and their founders on financings, repeatable commercial contracts, and governance issues from formation through scale.

Annie focuses on supporting rapidly scaling technology companies and their venture capital and strategic investors.

She works closely with founders and operators to build lasting legal infrastructure required to scale teams and businesses. Her work spans incorporation and restructuring, repeatable customer and partner agreements, employment and contractor arrangements, angel and venture financings, ongoing corporate governance, and positioning companies for future liquidity and exit opportunities with a focus on building scalable legal frameworks that support growth.

Annie is actively involved in the Prairie technology ecosystem and serves as Legal In-Residence partner to many regional technology incubators and their founders. She frequently engages in mentoring initiatives within the Saskatchewan startup community and is known for providing practical, commercially grounded legal advice that draws on deep industry knowledge and delivers accessible, market‑relevant solutions that bring clarity to complex legal and commercial issues.

In her practice, Annie works directly with cross‑functional teams, providing clear, actionable legal guidance that enables product development, commercial execution, and informed decision‑making.

Prior to attending law school, Annie studied abroad at the University of Helsinki and competed on the University of Regina Cougars Wrestling team. During her legal studies, she participated in the intensive clinical program at CLASSIC (Community Legal Assistance Services for Saskatoon Inner City) and was a legal summer student with one of Saskatchewan’s largest energy companies.

Out of the office, Annie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, international travel, and after queuing at Wimbledon, hopes to attend the remaining three Grand Slam tennis tournaments.
