RICHARD B. MORRIS, Q.C.

Richard is a skilled civil litigator with more than 35 years experience. He graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1965 and from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law in 1967. He was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1968 and received his Queen's Counsel in 2001.  He practices in an "Of Counsel" capacity in the Firm's Regina office.

 

Richard has extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in many areas of law, including banking law, insurance law, bankruptcy and insolvency, professional negligence, commercial litigation and estate litigation.

 

Richard is a member of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association and Canadian Bar Association (CBA), and has served as Chairman of the Provincial Branch, Civil Liberties subsection with the CBA. In the community, Richard has been an active volunteer locally and provincially and has served as president of the board of directors of the Regina YMCA and of the Saskatchewan Arthritis Association.
