RICHARD W. ELSON, Q.C.

Richard Elson, Q.C. is a senior litigation partner in the Saskatoon office.  Mr. Elson obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba in 1980, and has been with the firm since 1981.  Mr. Elson practices primarily in most aspects of Litigation, with particular emphasis on Medical-Legal Defence, Professional Discipline, Labour and Employment law, Administrative Law and Commercial Litigation.  He has represented clients before all courts in Saskatchewan, before the Supreme Court of Canada and before several administrative tribunals.

Mr. Elson has served as a lecturer for the Bar Admission Course and as a faculty member for the Trial Advocacy Program, both of which are sponsored by the Saskatchewan Legal Education Society.  Presently, Mr. Elson is also a Sessional Lecturer in Civil Procedure at the College of Law, University of Saskatchewan. 

In addition, Mr. Elson has served on various Boards for organizations in the community, including Persephone Theatre, the Saskatoon Society for the Protection of Children and the Saskatchewan Division of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
