MICHELLE J. OUELLETTE, Q.C.
Michelle Ouellette, Q.C. graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1983 with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy, and practised as a physical therapist until 1987. She received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba, College of Law, in 1990, and practised as a prosecutor with the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 1990 and 1991.
Michelle articled with the Firm in 1992 and was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in February of 1993. She practices in the area of Civil Litigation with a special interest in Health Law and Aboriginal Law.
Michelle teaches at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law and has taught in both the School of Physical Therapy and the College of Veterinarian Medicine. She has been a frequent presenter at conferences and seminars. She has been active at both the provincial and national levels of the Canadian Bar Association including many years on the Branch Executive and a term as Branch President. She also volunteers with a number of community organizations.
Michelle has litigated cases for her clients at all levels of the Canadian Courts. She has also appeared as counsel in various administrative proceedings and was involved in the negotiated resolution of a number of multi-million dollar claims on behalf of Saskatchewan First Nations.
