BRAD D. HUNTER
Brad Hunter is a senior litigation partner in the Regina office. Brad obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan in 1985. He joined the Firm that year and has been a partner since 1993.
Brad's practice focuses on defence litigation including errors and omissions and professional negligence defence for physicians, engineers, architects, accountants, psychologists, financial advisors and real estate professionals. Brad also has many years of experience in defending civil law suits involving products liability, construction disputes, property, casualty, business interruption, aviation and class actions. His practice also involves the provision of coverage analysis.
Brad has represented clients at the Saskatchewan Court of Queen’s Bench, Saskatchewan Court of Appeal, Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. In addition, he has extensive experience and has had a great deal of success in resolving client’s problems in ADR settings such as arbitration and mediation.
Brad has been a presenter for a number of professional organizations including medical associations, insurance professionals and continuing legal education seminars. Mr. Hunter is also a frequent speaker at professional risk management seminars.
Brad is a member and past president of the Risk Management Counsel of Canada and a member of the Honourable Order of Blue Goose International, an organization of property and casualty insurance professionals. Mr. Hunter is active in the community and has volunteered for numerous charities and events.
