McKercher LLP Women’s Group hosts Saskatchewan Bounty at the Saskatoon Farmer’s Market

The McKercher LLP Women’s Group hosted an annual event at the Saskatoon Farmers’ Market to celebrate the wonderful ladies in our community that are our clients and contacts.  Braving a June heatwave, the ladies and their guests enjoyed a Spanish style feast prepared with local ingredients by Chef Jenni, paired with wine by Dawn Wreford of the Saskatoon Co-op Wine Spirits Beer store.

The McKercher LLP Women’s Group was created by members of the Firm in 1994.  It is dedicated to the development and promotion of women in business and in the community.  Internally, it provides an avenue for female students and lawyers to interact via meetings and mentoring.  Externally, the group hosts social gatherings with other women’s groups, and sponsors events in the community.

Saskatchewan Bounty was developed as a new initiative in 2013 to take a bit of time to celebrate the wonderful bounty that Saskatchewan has provided for all of us.
