McKercher LLP provides funding to the new University of Saskatchewan arena, a two-story, twin-pad ice facility slated to open in the Fall of 2018

McKercher LLP has had a long history with the University of Saskatchewan, most of our lawyers and partners are alumni as well as many of our staff and our greater McKercher family.  The connections are deep and long-standing and we are proud of them.

We are very proud of our commitment for this significant gift to the U of S as part of their Home Ice Campaign to build a new sport complex that is a two-story, twin-pad ice facility, with increased spectator seating, sufficient dressing rooms for both Huskie Men’s and Women’s hockey and community groups, as well as dedicated space for coaches, trainers, referees and equipment storage. In addition, the facility is being designed to host numerous community and university events, such as Convocation, trade shows, concerts and more. We view this as much more than a hockey rink, as sport and team play provide an opportunity to learn essential skills that will form our future leaders.  Our investment is, in part, our commitment to our families, our practice, and our community as a whole.

The McKercher LLP Trophy Lounge planned for the main mezzanine, will sure to be a gathering place for present and future McKercher family, our clients, our friends and our communities for many years to come.
